I bought the Nike iPod Sports kit, and it's been the best 30 bucks I've ever spent. I love how it keeps track of everything I should know about my runs: time, distance, and calories burned, and it even motivates me along the way. My biggest gripe (albeit a small one) has been the pieces that make it work. Besides the sensor that gets attached to the shoe (or inserted if you have Nike shoes), a receiver is plugged into the iPod dock connector. I normally keep the receiver plugged in, but if I've just charged my iPod I sometimes forget to plug the receiver back in.  read more »
